Our office outfits have come a long way since the end of lockdown – many offices have adopted a more a casual vibe, while some are maintaining the classy corporate look (but ditching the tie).
If you are starting a new job or you’re just tired of your current work wardrobe and need some inspiration, then look no further. Here at TG we have the perfect look, wherever your work day takes you.
Corporate and clean
Not all of our offices have moved towards a more laid-back style. For those of you still rocking suits, blazers and shirts, this outfit is for you. You will be turning heads, from your morning commute to midday meetings, even at after work drinks.
This fresh office look from Next is giving us clean cut vibes, and is perfect for the transition from Summer to Autumn. This sage green shirt paired with light cotton chinos is a great change from the traditional suit, and the addition of the brown belt gives the outfit a pop of contrast.
Cool girl co-working
More and more of us are using co-working spaces, sharing an office with professionals from a multitude of careers. With no strict rules it can be difficult to know what to wear, especially when you still want to dress to impress.
This playful outfit, courtesy of New Look and JD sports, really showcases how you can keep it smart while also making your outfit fun. This relaxed lilac blazer paired with dusty pink wide leg jeans and platform converse are giving us all the cool girl vibes and are sure to match the creative energy in any co-working space.
Work-from-home wear
Many of us are now working from home – if not full time, at least a couple of days a week. As much as we would love to stay in our pyjamas and hoodies, maximizing our comfort level, it is risky: is there anything worse than an unexpected video call when you’re sat in your dressing gown?
We think this outfit is the ideal choice, making you look put together without having to sacrifice your comfy trousers.
This chunky red fleece from M&S is smart enough that you will still look presentable for any calls, expected or not. Chuck on some joggers from JD and cozy suede slippers (another M&S gem) and you’re set for the comfiest work day of the week, and your colleagues will never know.
Coffee shop chic
Working from home is not for all of us. Sometimes you need to get out of the house and be around people. Where better to do that than a coffee shop? A delicious iced latte, free Wi-Fi and the buzz of other people = productive, positive atmosphere.
This striped jumper and dark wash mom jeans are cute and casual so you won’t feel overdressed but will still look your best. The final touch to this outfit is this sleek black tote bag, which is stylish and also big enough to fit in your laptop and all your work essentials.
